Ilhan Yirmibesoglu

Ilhan Yirmibesoglu was born in 1956 in Istanbul, has a BA in Business Administration and Finance from the Bosphorous University, now specializes in ship management, dry cargo contracting, chartering and ship finance. Held majority shares and senior executive positions in a number of ship owning companies controlling dry cargo vessels and several maritime services companies in Turkey.
Acting also as non-exclusive marketing and protecting agents for Bank of Scotland for shipping portfolio in Turkey since 1996. As co-founding partner and Managing Director at Medfin, since 1999, he has been instrumental in building a strong and selective portfolio and in establishing Medfin as a pre-eminent force in ship finance in Turkey.
He is also involved in a number of corporate finance activities in Turkey.
