YAVUZ KALKAVAN
Managing Director, Besiktas Group
Born in 1978, Yavuz Kalkavan studied at the Paris American University. In 1998 he joined Besiktas Group, a family-run group of companies involved in shipping and shipbuilding activities and other sectors, such as: finance (Bank Asia), insurance (Isik Insurance), health services (Memorial Hospitals) and tourism (Pera Palace Hotel).
Yavuz Kalkavan is managing director in charge of the Besiktas Shipping & Besiktas Shipyard, as well as board member of the insurance company and president of the Pera Palace Hotel.
He is married, and has one son and one daughter.
